The Journey

From circuit boards to cap tables

I'm an electrical engineer and product leader. I earned my B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Hampton University, then master's degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. I've spent 12+ years taking products from conception to launch to iteration across AI, fintech, automotive, healthtech, and SaaS. Living the highs and lows of building, and learning what separates a good idea from a fundable one.

I build in tech, for good. The work I care about most is opening doors, helping founders who've too often been overlooked turn raw ideas into market-ready, investor-backed companies. Along the way I've helped build products that have collectively raised over $50M, proof of what well-crafted solutions can do when they meet a real market need.

As a UC Berkeley VC University fellow, I bring an investor's lens to the founder's table: pattern recognition, capital strategy, and the discipline to build what matters and cut what doesn't. Rooted in Detroit, I advise startups on products that are fundable by design.
